BAD:
Corey Hewitt only played 10 minutes, probably indicating her back is still not up to par.  In the limited action, Hewitt still hit a three and contributed an assist.

The Greyhounds, despite finishing strong, looked a little sluggish in the first half, and the 2 / 3 zone I have been raving about didn't shine in the first half of play.  Offensively the Hounds were impressive at times and at others just seemed very out of place, maybe the variation of line-ups just didn't sit too well.

GOOD:
Well, when a team wins by 18, it's usually a good sign that there was good things happening.  Sophomore guard Shannon Cohen was able to play 29 mins in place of Hewitt, and contributed 4 points and 3 assists.  Senior G Jina Mosley was stellar, scoring 16 points, mostly on breakaway layups.  Jen Bongard looked great also, canning 2 three pointers on two attempts.

The press!!! During the second half, the Hounds went to a 2-1-2 zone press which worked very well against the undermanned Legacy.  The Hounds proved their athleticism to be as good as advertised by Coach Coyle.

The inside play of Kirsch and Rath was very good and occasionally spectacular.  Kirsch hit all three of her shots, only playing 16 mins, and Rath connected on 6 of her 7 shots to finish with 12 points.  Rath and senior guard Theresa Cooney paced the Hounds starters with 5 rebounds a piece, while Cohen came off the bench to pull down 7 of her own rebounds.

OVERALL:
This was a good, not great, game for the Hounds.  They reached into the roster and went 13 deep, which is good, but the fact remains that Hewitt was only able to play for 10 mins.  It's a good thing that Cohen was able to fill in so well.  This game is a solid B for the Hounds.
